A Dedication to a Vietnam Veteran "Allan Howarth" part 3 final

It is hard to catch a memory that you have only been able to share & i am forced to live for only the occasional glimpse of my real father that I see between the fits of depression & the blind violence & rage which has even in those extreme moments of madness never ever been directed those he loves.

Allan in unable to work & as a T.P.I Veteran he is faced with the plight of so many veterans of the Vietnam war that of being UNABLE TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE, to have a JOB, to MIX with FAMILY & FRIENDS, his world is that of a recluse the WAR as it would seem already DECIDED HIS FUTURE.

My father is just one Vietnam Veteran and our family one of the many thousands of veterans families so devastatingly effected by the Vietnam war>

The End

i know i wrote this but i just reread it & i'm amazed at how much we hide from the world about our upbringing. just so we'd seem sort of normal.
we all must be great at hiding emotions i no i am!

it's easier to hide them. cause if their hidden their kind of not there. if that makes any sense. your not void of emotion none of us are. it's articulating them and feeling them thats is hard. especially when it's considered a 'weakness'...... Do you find this valuable?

it doesn't hurt you to say those three magic words I LOVE YOU. and even if it's not flooded with googly eyes and lots of kisses even if its a straight up comment without the trimmings it will mean something. give it a try and see how you go...... your partner will appreciate it. and it won't hurt you either. and by the way i know you probably know this but it isn't a weakness it means your a human being!!!!
